Do You Think Your Beauty Comes From Being Healthy, Fashionable, or Having Surgery Done?

by Mary Turner

Beauty is one of those conversation points that are always talked about but rarely in an honest way that looks at how we view ourselves and our bodies. It is important to ask yourself tough questions so that we can learn where our insecurities are and understand ourselves better.

Does our Fitness and Health Make Us Beautiful?

Is being healthy and working out enough for you to feel attractive? For many people going to the gym or joining some sort of body shaping class like Pilates gives them the energy and confidence to feel beautiful. Working out on the Pilates fitness machine or sweating to the oldies is all it takes to get that confidence going.

Aside from just burning calories, taking in healthy food and supplementing it with vitamins to make sure you are getting the needs of the body met can be a great way to create energy. Muscle recovery happens faster with the right nutrition and keeping a constant blood sugar level that doesn't spike from lots of sugary processed foods is great for staying alert and ready to take on the world.

Beauty Through Fashion

Fashion is all some people need to feel beautiful and confident. For them the designer names are a signature of success and superiority and that is what they care about. Having and wearing the newest and trendiest is enough for them to know that other people will watch and envy them.

Beauty From The Cosmetic Fix

The natural characteristics that our DNA creates for us is not what many people want, so they turn to cosmetic surgeons to create the new beautiful them they dream about. There are many cosmetic procedures that will change the smallest feature and help that person feel confident in themselves. Mothers have those stretch marks reduced, many use botox to reduce the wrinkles, and the fat is sucked right back out of their body.

Dentists are increasingly busy with cosmetic procedures and breakthroughs in whitening as well as sedation procedures for bigger changes have become much easier and effective. For many people the ability to sleep through the corrective dental surgery and wake up with a new smile has led to easier stress free dental visits.

Where do you fall into these categories? How far would you go to be lovely in you own eyes and have the confidence to smile at the world? Loving yourself and feeling confident in who you are is vital to creating a good life.

Exercise to Look Younger

by Jen Hopkins

The support of facial muscles plays a vital part on the appearance of ones skin. With the presence of wrinkles and loose skins on the neck and throat area, it makes one appear much older than he/she is supposed to look. That is why facial exercises designed for the neck and throat area was developed to help the muscles remain smooth and firm to show a much younger looking skin.

Here are suggested facial exercises which bring about the natural glow of the skin.

1. Sit upright and tilt the head back looking at the ceiling. Keep the lips closed and then start a chewing movement. Feel the muscles working in the neck and throat area and be amazed of the results. Do the procedure for 20 times.

2. Sit upright and tilt head back looking at the ceiling and keep lips closed and relaxed. Start puckering the lips together in a kiss and stretch it as if it was trying to kiss the ceiling. Keep the lips puckered for 10 counts then relax. Bring the head back to its normal position and repeat the procedure 5 times.

3. Sit upright with head back looking at the ceiling. Keep lips closed and relaxed. Move the lower over the top lip as far as possible and keep it until the count of 5. Relax and repeat the procedure 5 times.

4. Lie on the bed with head hanging down over the edge. Slowly bring up the head up towards the torso and keep it there until the count of ten. Relax and lower the head towards the floor again. Repeat the procedure 5 times.

5. Sit upright and move face forward. Keep the lips together. Separate the teeth by dropping the jaw and pushing the jaw forward until the count of 10. Bring back to the starting position and repeat the procedure 5 times.

The chin, neck and throat area is difficult to treat. But with regular facial exercise, a smoother and firmer neck plus a compact chin will make one look years younger.
