Trim Down With Liposculpture

by Jayna Davis

Looking good can be really time-consuming. Simply trying to stay slim in a world of junk food and never-leave-your-desk convenience can really require a conscious effort, as well as a lot of time and money. Tired of having to squeeze all that exercise into your schedule? Feeling hungry and dissatisfied all the time from the constant dieting? Well, why not try going under the knife?

This means that even the calories you might have burned from the simple effort of placidly pushing a shopping cart through the aisles of a grocery store would end up turning into fat. Nowadays, most people really have to take time off from their schedules to exercise, and for a lot of people time is the one thing they can't spare at all.

Of course, there's an alternative to simply letting yourself get enormously, monstrously fat or having to go through all the rigors of diet and exercise: take the surgical route. This is especially useful if you need to trim down quickly. The problem with liposuction though, is that although it gets rid of lots of fat pretty quickly, it's a really invasive and fairly risky procedure, and can often require a stay at the hospital, especially if you get a whole lot of fat removed.

Liposculpture is a liposuction technique that's relatively less invasive and much more precise, but is good mostly for folks who want fat removed in specific areas of the body. As with any surgical procedure, you'll have to consult with your doctor to see if you'll be a good candidate for it.

Liposculpture, on the other hand, could be just the procedure for you. Liposcuplture costs about the same a liposuction, and it follows the same basic principle of well sucking out those bothersome fat cells. It's a lot less invasive though; and it's a lot more precise as well.

Liposculpture uses a surgical technique called the tumescent technique, which involves injecting the fat in the area with a saline solution so that it becomes softer and easier to siphon out. This saline solution usually also serves as a local anesthetic -numbing the area so that you won't feel any pain when the incision is made and the suction device used. Depending on the doctor and the situation, you might not need to take any other anesthetics, which can be really useful, especially if you have allergies.

The great thing about liposculpture is that since it so much less invasive than most other plastic surgery procedures, a person usually doesn't even have to go under or get checked into the hospital. After the procedure, you can go straight home. The healing process is a lot faster too, which means that you'll get to reveal your new and improved bod a lot faster, and at a lot less risk.

That's well worth the liposculpture cost!

Plastic Surgery and Breast Augmentation

by Andrew W Johns

Women have breast augmentation for an array of reasons. For some it may be she wants to be more endowed, she feels that their breast aren't symmetrical, or just that they are the wrong shape for her. Whatever the reason, it can be a call for attention for women to consider the surgery. The most common reason is a lack of confidence. Having breasts or other body parts she is dislikes can damage th way she sees herself. Breast cancer survivors also have the augmentation surgery after having the damaged tissue removed during treatment. The results are almost universally a boon to the happiness and look of the patient.

The first thing a woman considering breast augmentation needs to think about is the shape she wants. These days, unlike before, the implants come in different shapes. This allows for a more natural look after the surgery. Even though modern implants are slightly more expensive, the natural look is worth the trade off.

When it comes to breast augmentation procedures, another thing that a woman considering the operation should think about is the incision site. There are three different possibilities. Firstly, the implant can be inserted where the breast meets the lower chest. This leaves a small scar, but it is hidden by its location. Another possibility is that the incision can be made where the areola meets the skin of the breast. The implant is then inserted into a pocket made under the muscle. Lastly, an incision can be made in the armpit, or axillary. For the surgeon, this is slightly more work, due to the fact that there is a larger distance between where the implant will lie and where the incision is made.

The patient must think carefully about how they want their breasts to look after the surgery is complete. The patient needs to ask themselves what shape do they want, a more curvy appearance, or a more streamlines look? To get the most out of the procedure, the patient needs to been honest with herself and the surgeon about what she truly wants.

Every body is different so the same implant will look different on every person. A plastic surgeon will be able to give invaluable advice while making this decision.

There are many qualified and skilled surgeons in the United States for women to consult with about breast augmentation. Women considering the procedure should research and ask questions to find the right surgeon to use.
